Tina Thorburn, from the county council’s highways team, provided the latest in a series of regularvideo updates on the latest work taking place on Surrey’s roads. She focused on a scheme to install a toucan crossing for pedestrians and cyclists across the A217 Brighton Road, work on part of the same road to apply a new surface to help prevent vehicles skidding and the Pavement Horizon work taking place in Normandy. She also gave updates on the major scheme at Runnymede roundabout and drainage works in Chipstead.
